William A. D'Alton

 

WILLIAM A. D'ALTON, was born in New Milford, Connecticut on April 20, 1963. Bill moved to Montana and attended the University of Montana, where he obtained his law degree. Bill was admitted to the Montana State Bar in 1995. After graduating, he worked as an attorney for the Yellowstone County Public Defender's Office for two years. In 1998, Bill joined the Brown Law Firm, P.C. in Billings, Montana. While with the Brown Law Firm, Bill began work in the area of insurance defense litigation. In 2008, Bill founded the D'Alton Law Firm, where he has broadened his practice to represent both plaintiffs and defendants. With more than 20 years of experience practicing law, Mr. D'Alton has tried jury cases in every level of trial settings in Montana, from Justice Court to Federal District Court. He has gained jury acquittals for people charged with serious crimes. In the civil arena, Bill has secured successful jury verdicts for his clients, whether defendants or plaintiffs. He has handled appeals before the Montana Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals, 9th Circuit.

 

Bill enjoys the outdoors which is why he calls Montana home.  Some of the activities Bill finds relaxing are exercising, gardening, cooking, watching sports and spending time with his family.
